From time to time Deasil Energy is is asked to provide articles for publication in journals, newsletters, and for groups, entities and societies. This section contains those that can be published, as well as such from third parties who have been kind enough to provide them.

 

Strathclyde University Renewable Energy society (SURE)

In 2006 and 2007 two presentations were made to SURE, both of which are listed here. First is a presentation about the work of Scottish Renewables, the .pdf summary of which is available at this link, second is an insight into how a large engineering consultancy goes about designing some landmark buildings, available from this link. Please be aware that both of these files are comparatively large (>2MB) and may take some time to download.

The journal of the Network for Alternative Technology and Technology Assessment, and independent group started in 1976 and based at the Open University.

Formally the Department for Trade and Industry, The Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform has primary responsibility for energy in the UK.

World Renewable Energy Congress

WREC X, held in Glasgow in July 2008, is the bi-annual congress of the World Renewable Energy Network.
