Energy, a company which provides information and consultancy on the use and
sustainability of energy. This site is divided into sections for ease of
use; these sections can be navigated by using the bars above or to the left. Information about
each of these sections is provided below.
Consultancy
Ultimately what pays the bills. Proper energy consultancy can save a
small fortune, providing the proper approaches and technologies
are used. It can also increase the worth of a household or company through
being prepared for and compliance with new legislation, as well as the
established halo effect of being seen to be green.
Deasil can provide consultancy on green and blue energy
technologies, efficiency measures, planning, organisational change,
grant applications, legislation, future trends and more. Deasil provides
information about its own services, the services of others, and some
impartial information about how to choose a good consultant.

Education
Energy is part of everyday life, from eating and moving to working,
getting about and sitting down for a cup of tea. For people in the
developed world it is very much about 'magic' - we flip the switch, pump
the fuel and then grumble about how much it costs. Simple, if expensive.
In the developing world it is much more about finding enough energy to
complete daily tasks, and paradoxically more complicated and less
efficient to achieve that goal.
Some brief explanation of these matters is offered in the 'About
Energy' section of this site. If your curiosity has been aroused and you
wish to gain more knowledge on your own, rather than through
consultancy, then this section is for you. It offers information about
some of the available energy education in the UK, some of which is
focused on the latest research and technology, some on applying existing technology
more efficiently in developed and developing countries. Please also
