Projects
Some of the energy and
sustainability projects that Deasil
Energy has worked on, past and present. Do please note that the company
cannot give full details of these projects, due to commercial sensitivity,
though as much information as possible has been provided.
An
agricultural college in Dumfries who are looking to increase their
sustainability and reduce costs, Barony College, along with Scottish
Enterprise and the University of Strathclyde, commissioned a report into
their heating systems. This investigation formed the group project
section of the Energy Systems Research Unit's MSc - Energy Systems and
the Environment. It comprised research, a web based report, and a
presentation to industry. A summary is provided
above and
here, full details are
available at:

The
nature of the Isle of Arran is such that very different technologies can
be deployed where they can best be used, yet within a short distance of
one another.
Deasil Energy has
been asked to work with research bodies, with funding organisations and
most importantly with the wider Arran community in order to
identify ways of employing sustainable energy
techniques; these to be of benefit to residents' quality of living, and
to the island's economy. Click on the link above or here for more
details.
